Choosing Your Look

Go to Style & Design -> Design & Appearance. Every section on every page you build afterward automatically uses whatever you set here -- buttons, headings, backgrounds, all of it. That is why it is worth doing first: build your pages after this is set, and you never have to go back and manually re-color anything.

1. Open the Themes tab and browse the categories -- pick whichever palette is closest to what you want.
2. Click a theme to apply it instantly. This sets your colors, fonts, and spacing all at once, as a starting point you can still fine-tune.

1. Open the Colors tab. Type or paste an exact hex color code (such as #4d598d) for each swatch, or click a swatch to pick visually.
2. Open the Typography tab to change fonts and type sizes for headings, body text, and navigation.
3. Open the Branding tab to upload your logo and favicon.
4. Click Save at the bottom of whichever tab you edited.

You do not need a big palette. One primary color (your brand color, the one on your sign or logo), a neutral background, and readable text is enough for a site that looks put together. Pick fonts that are easy to read at a glance -- this matters more than picking something trendy.
